Mentorship program nurturing the next generation of

Black & Brown sports & entertainment leaders.

Sports & Entertainment Equity Network (SEEN) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit striving to close the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) gap prevalent in the business of sports & entertainment.

Our goal is to provide Black and Brown professionals with opportunities to:

  • Advance themselves professionally and personally

  • Build authentic relationships with a community of peers

  • Give back to support the next generation of young leaders

Sports & Entertainment Equity Network’s mentorship program, NextGen, gives a select group of high-potential, early-career professionals a chance to learn from and build relationships with top leaders in the sports & entertainment industry. Each mentee will be paired with two mentors and SEEN will curate a series of program-related events to promote learning and authentic relationships between all participants.

Mentees and mentors are expected to have at least one monthly touchpoint and participate in supplemental monthly SEEN programming with the cohort.

April - October 2023

All mentees and mentors will have to complete a program application to be considered for the NextGen program. Select candidates will then have an interview with a member of the SEEN team prior to final selections being made.

Applications Live: Monday, Jan. 23rd to Sunday, Jan. 29th at 11:59pm PST

Applicants should expect to hear back in 4 to 6 weeks

For questions or concerns about the application or program itself please reach out to us at nextgen@seentogether.org

The SEEN NextGen Mentorship Program provided me with a network of life-long friends as well as two outstanding mentors that have supplied endless support, guidance and knowledge. I will be forever grateful and a huge advocate for all they do.

It was clear how intentional the mentor pairings were and the staff has done everything to ensure the mentees have had the support and resources needed to elevate in our respective career fields. As a result of the program and the guidance from my amazing mentors, I feel more confident and validated in my abilities.

I think one of the most beautiful parts about the SEEN Community is not only being mentored by professionals in the field, but  being side by side with a cohort of young professionals who are also trying to grow in the field.
